Optigen is proud to introduce our newest innovation for the military and their families: The Tech Check.
The Tech Check is great for "New Arrivals" to an MTF who have transferred from another MTF and who may need CPAP therapy or supplies. Most new arrivals that have been diagnosed with sleep apnea prior to transferring already have a CPAP but they will need a new company to assist them with their ongoing CPAP therapy and supply needs. The Tech Check is also great for any TRICARE beneficiary who is currently using CPAP but who has not had a new mask or replacement supplies for over 3 months.
Requesting a Tech Check
To request a Tech Check for one of your beneficiaries, simply fax the referral to Optigen at 877-339-0180. The

referral should include the appropriate codes as outlined below. Once we receive the referral, Optigen will contact the patient and schedule a convenient in-home Tech Check performed by a highly trained sleep technician. The Tech Check service includes:

CPAP check up - verify CPAP is working properly.

•
|
CPAP Pressure check - make sure pressure settings are accurate using a manometer.
|
|
•
|
Mask/Supplies check - re-fit patient with a new mask and check supplies for replacement if necessary.
|
Referring the patient to Optigen for the Tech Check is simple and as a national TRICARE provider, we will continue to take care of your patients regardless of additional relocation, deployment or retirement.
